Recipe of Kahwa: 

• Lightly roast the green coffee beans and grind them in fine powder.
• Bring water to simmer and then add the coffee 
• After it boils add a pinch of green cardamon powder.
• Pour the coffee through a strainer into a beautiful traditional Omani Kahwa pot called ( Dallah) and serve in fenjans . Optionally can add few drops of rose water for unique flavour. 

Variations:

We may test slight variations in various regions of Oman in Kahwa but the essence remains intact or same .The coffee is light and aromatic with the cardamon adding little distinctive flavour.
